NSNA 71st Convention in Nashville TN
MASNA’s BOD had the chance to go to Nashville, TN for NSNA’s convention where NSNA held an amazing NCLEX review, had many different vendors at their exhibit hall, multiple informative workshops for many different types of nursing specialties, and most importantly the MASNA BOD participated in the house of delegates and voting on the different resolutions and elections for the upcoming term! It was so much fun and the BOD are very grateful they could attend this year!
We also had Schenene Thomas (Boston College ‘25) present an important resolution on behalf of the Massachusetts Student Nurses’ Association that addressed the need for an increase awareness of the health disparity of Type 2 Diabetes in the Black community.

On October 16th, members of our BOD attended the Walk to End Alzheimers in the Greater Boston Area! Pictured are members Meghan King (President), Emily Saucier (Vice President), Kayla Archambault (Secretary), Sara Madden (Elections & Resolutions), and Dr. Shindul-Rothschild (Advisor). They were honored to meet many lovely individuals at the event, and had some group bonding time as well! It was a beautiful day and route along the Boston Harbor. The members are very grateful for this opportunity and enjoyed getting to know one another better. Each person also received a flower to show their connection to Alzheimers. Pictured are purple and orange flowers. Purple flowers represent those who lost someone to Alzheimers Disease, and orange flowers represent someone in support of the cause and the vision of a world without Alzheimers and other forms of dementia. MaSNA stands with you.
